kite flying for me.. early morning walks on the beach... late afternoon walks on the beach...4th of july parades and hopefully some  fireworks...great food (I'm hoping we do the cream  cheese /Bacon /Jalapeno peppers again)  some smoked salmon along with  some really great wine. How about a beer on the beach at night in front of a raging bonfire....or taking in a play at the Coastal Theater, they're performing Monty Python's SPAMALOT this year... wow could be a lot of fun, I've got to check out if it's age appropriate...there is some talk of  taking on one of the area's hiking trail's... always Camp 18 and Mo's for great food and oyster shots at Bills Tavern and BREW HOUSE....or pizza from Fultanos and we can't miss eating fireside at Morris  fireside RESTAURANT .... how about a horse ride on the beach or a massage or a yoga class in town...

They've added a couple of new art galleries in  town and I can't wait to browse the collections..

The Farmers Market down by City  Hall and Cannon Beach Family Market to pick up some local fruits and veggies...I really can't wait to see how  this years vacation turns out...

Aww....such beautiful babes on vacation.... I'm not counting me...

So many wonderful memories... I can't wait to capture some more...

4th of July in cannon beach oregon.... wear your most PATRIOTIC or just be patriotic....

The town will be full, the beach will be full and the parade will be majestic....

Lets start the day with a stroll on the beach, maybe we will see an eagle on the 4th... after a brisk walk maybe some pastries and coffee.  Maybe do a little kite flying on the beach if the wind is up, then back to the room to prepare for the parade... I am looking forward to the lawn chair parade... as night falls lets settle in around our raging bonfire andto a nice glass of something...

A DAY TRIP TO ASTORIA HAS TO INCLUDE SOME IF NOT ALL OF THE FOLLOWING;

Goonies House, JCP Downtown, Astoria Column, Astoria Bridge( over and back for what the heck) Lewis and Clark winter camp, Maritime Museum, the wreck of the Peter Iredale and last but most important lunch. Lets eat overlooking the Columbia River watching huge container ships go by as we slurp some wonderful clam chowder and guzzle some moose drool... lets eat outdoor at Mo's in Astoria......
